Here We Go
I am excited to have a blog to start after having attended Wordpress Camp.
Wordpress Camp is like day camp for grown-ups. Lots of fun and very intellectually stimulating. Lots of information to take in.
So now I start my blog and hopefully it is running okay.
I don’t have alot to say, but was more looking for a place to keep my thoughts so that they don’t get forgotten or discarded. So often if you have things on pieces of paper, the papers can get disorganized and then you never find them. This way I will be able to look back at what I’ve been doing and will be able to remember it better.
i am very active in the town affairs, so some of what I do is go to the Board and Committee meetings. For instance, I am on the Homeless task force. I also like to attend the City Council meetings.
One of the problems with attending some of these meeting is that some are held in the evening. If I had my choice I would rather already be home and in my apartment with the door closed by the time it is night. So these meetings I’m not entirely crazy about, but for instance, if the subject of the homeless task force is going to be discussed at Council, it is probably a good idea that I attend.
So I may tell you a little abou t City affairs.
We’ll see how it goes.
I don’t have any super-great ambitions, just want a place to be typing a little bit.
